A major exhibition of Egyptian treasures is set to open at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.

The Fascinating Mummies exhibition combines artefacts from collections in Holland and Scotland, including a number of mummified animals and people.

New technology has allowed researchers to look inside the mummies without them being unwrapped.

BBC Scotland's arts correspondent, Pauline McLean,Discount Paul Smith, found out more ahead of the exhibition's opening.
